6 values for all of us
Our Code of Conduct comprises 6 values. These values unite all of our employees, no matter what they do or where they work. This is why everyone signs it upon joining Ricola.
This is our Code of Conduct:
We treasure the Ricola heritage.
We draw inspiration from it to move forward.
Integrity is our foundation.
We cultivate strong moral principles based on honesty, ethics, and trust.
We put people first.
We put people first: consumers, employees, and partners.
We live the entrepreneurial spirit.
We are courageous professionals in everything we do.
We foster a high-performance culture.
We thrive on success and challenge each other in a culture of openness and trust.
Responsibility and sustainability are in our nature.
We work to improve our natural environment and enrich the communities in which we live.
High standards, deeply rooted
Our Code of Conduct sets high standards in key areas such as quality assurance, business ethics, and fairness in all interactions. It ensures compliance with legal standards and supports the advancement of our sustainability goals. The Code of Conduct is deeply rooted in our history, in who we are as a company, and in our business relationships with external partners.
Corporate values, socially realised
Our corporate philosophy embraces economic, environmental, and social values. We believe that, as a business, we have responsibilities to our employees, society, and the environment. Preserving and promoting cultural values and charitable projects is part of this commitment. Our key projects include the Ricola Foundation, the Ricola Collection, and the Emil and Rosa Richterich-Beck Foundation.
Ricola Foundation
The Ricola Foundation was established in 2010. Its aim is to build a bridge between nature and culture in order to promote a more humane world. The Foundation supports projects that contribute to a deeper understanding of the needs and fundamentals of sustainable living. The Foundation's activities have an international focus.
Ricola Collection
Ricola has always loved art. Emil Richterich, the founder of Ricola, collected Swiss art. The Ricola Collection was established in 1975 and focuses on Swiss art, including painting, photography, prints, and sculpture. The Collection today is professionally curated. Visiting the Ricola Collection is a unique experience as it is displayed in an industrial environment, far removed from museum conditions. The works are exhibited on the company's premises and can be viewed by employees and visitors.
Emil and Rosa Richterich-Beck Foundation
Established in 1975 by Alfred Richterich and Hans Peter Richterich in memory of their parents Rosa and Emil Richterich-Beck, the Emil and Rosa Richterich-Beck Foundation supports cultural and social projects, especially those in the Laufen (Basel-Landschaft) region.
