“It's all in my head. That's where I carry it so high. I keep most of my essential oils up there. But my pollen and nectar are also beneficial. So my head is full of soft and sweet flower power. What a feeling!”

Beneficial from head to toe

Chamomile was once dedicated to the Egyptian head of the deities, the sun god Ra. However, it was the Greeks who gave chamomile its name:  The word chamomile comes from the Greek and means "earth-apple". It is so called because of the apple-like scent of the plant.

Chamomile has been used medicinally for thousands of years. In the Middle Ages, the good reputation of chamomile spread throughout Europe. It was regarded as a remedy for nervousness and insomnia. At that time, chamomile baths were already being used to cure skin diseases and inflammations. Today, wellness and health products made from chamomile are part of our everyday lives.
